We are proud to announce the opening of a second Academy in Suffolk County. The new Academy will be located in Commack and will be opening in a few weeks. We will be posting the exact opening date soon. Professor Joe Scarola and Professor Tom Muller will be teaching in the new location as well as in the New Hyde Park Academy. Hard work and over ten years of dedication to Jiu-Jitsu have allowed them to realize their dream of owning and operating two successful Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academies. This is a testimony to their devotion to teaching and sharing their love for the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to anyone who wanted to learn. They would like to thank all of their students and instructors over the years for making this dream a reality. Thank you again and we will see you all on the mat soon.

All Classes are canceled this Saturday 6/6/09 due to the Long Island Pride No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu tournament. We are sorry for the inconvenience but we have a number of students competing. We urge any students that are not competing to come down and support your teammates. This is one of the few tournaments that take place on Long Island so travel is not an issue. Starting June 1, 2009 you will not be able to participate in the No-Gi class if you are wearing street clothes. The class requires that everyone that would like to participate must wear the appropriate shorts, shirt or rash guards. All the gear you will need is in stock if you do not have it in it will be ordered for you. Thank you for making the academy’s appearance look like an academy and not a gym.
